Access

When you start using your storage unit the manager at your Shurgard location will provide you with a personal electronic access code. You use this code to access the premises and your code allows you access to the area where your unit is located.

You are the only person with access to your storage unit, which is locked with a specifically designed secure cylinder lock. You own the lock and the matching keys. All our locations are monitored by security cameras placed in strategic positions.

All Shurgard locations have sufficient parking facilities to park at or next to the premises.

Many locations have a so-called “drive-in”: you can drive your vehicle directly into the premises and park inside to facilitate loading and unloading.

Some locations even have parking for large removal lorries.

At all Shurgard locations you have free access seven days a week, 365 days a week.

The standard access hours are between 6.00 and 23.00.

During opening hours, your on-site manager is available to provide you, as our customer, with personal service (for answering questions, selling materials and handling rental payments etc.).

The on-site manager is present most days of the week. For the actual opening hours of your location, search for your facility in the list of all Shurgard locations.

You have free access to your storage unit during our standard access hours between 6.00 and 23.00.

Yes, Shurgard also offers storage units that are directly accessible by car or lorry.

These are located on the ground floor, often at the exterior of the premises, so that you can park your vehicle in front of your storage unit.

Yes, you can use the trolleys and loading docks at Shurgard for free to make loading and unloading as easy as possible.
