Getting here:
- On Nynäsvägen/road 73, near Port 73 (the new shopping mall in Haninge) and next to Vegabaren, Mio Möbler and Eurostore
- By car: exit road 73 at Handen junction. Follow Gudöbroleden/road 260 towards Nynäsvägen. Take the first right after Torfastleden and you’ll see Eurostore, Mio furniture store and our location

Customised insurance
To protect yourself and your possessions, you’re obliged to have an insurance policy for items you have in storage. When you sign a contract with us, we offer an affordable insurance policy that’s customised for Shurgard customers.
Depending on the value of your belongings, you pay a premium of SEK 150 per month. Most of our customers choose this insurance option.
Alternatively, you can contact the insurers who provide your home contents insurance for a quote. Policy terms vary between insurers and sometimes their cover only applies for a limited time.

You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.

At Shurgard we take security seriously. All our self-storage facilities have:

- alarms monitored by an external security team

- perimeter fencing
- PIN coded electronic gates
- individual storage units with specifically designed secure locks.

No, you only start paying when you sign your rental contract.

No, unlike other self-storage providers, Shurgard never asks for a deposit when you rent a storage unit with us.

Simply select one of the storage units at Shurgard Handen above to make a reservation. We only need your name, e-mail and telephone number. Alternatively call our staff at Shurgard Handen and we’ll happy to help you.

No, you can always change the type or size of the reserved storage unit, or you can cancel your reservation for free. We don’t charge a cancellation fee.

Sure, you can indicate your move-in date when reserving your storage unit at Shurgard. We will hold the unit, the price and promotion for you for 30 days. If the move in date is more than 30 days away, we can only reserve the availability of the unit, not the price or promotion.

Yes, we sell a wide range of moving boxes and packing materials at any Shurgard reception office. These include bubble wrap, tape and protection covers.
