• Why should I choose an upstairs storage unit?
  Upstairs storage units are often cheaper than those on the ground floor of the same size, so choose these if you don’t have a lot of bulky or heavy stuff to store, or if you don’t have to frequently move stuff in and out of your unit. At Shurgard Danderyd you can still conveniently access your upstairs storage unit with the help of our spacious lifts and trolleys.
• What is the advantage of storage units located on the ground floor?
  With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.
• Can I store my winter/summer tyres at Shurgard Danderyd?
  Yes, at Shurgard Danderyd you can rent a locker or a 1 m² storage unit - ideal for storing your spare set of tyres at a reasonable price.
• Who can access my storage unit?
  You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.
• How secure is my storage unit at Shurgard?
  At Shurgard we take security seriously. All our self-storage facilities have:

• Do I need to pay when reserving a storage unit?
  No, you only start paying when you sign your rental contract.
• Do I need to pay a security deposit when renting a storage unit at Shurgard?
  No, unlike other self-storage providers, Shurgard never asks for a deposit when you rent a storage unit with us.
• How do I reserve a storage unit at Shurgard Danderyd?
  Simply select one of the storage units at Shurgard Danderyd above to make a reservation. We only need your name, e-mail and telephone number. Alternatively call our staff at Shurgard Danderyd and we’ll happy to help you.
• What if the storage unit I reserved is too small or too big?
  Not to worry, you can always change the type or size of the reserved storage unit, or you can cancel your reservation for free. Call our staff at Shurgard Danderyd on 08-514 846 50 and we will be happy to help you.
• Can I reserve a storage unit at Shurgard now and start renting in 2 months’ time?
  Sure, you can indicate your move-in date when reserving your storage unit at Shurgard. We will hold the unit, the price and promotion for you for 30 days.  If the move in date is more than 30 days away, we can only reserve the availability of the unit, not the price or promotion.
• How do I reach Shurgard Danderyd by car?
  Take the E18/Norrtäljevägen towards Norrtälje. Exit at Danderyd Kyrka towards Sollentuna and turn right at the roundabout towards Djursholm. Take the first left, which is Rinkebyvägen.
• Can I buy moving boxes or packing supplies at Shurgard?
  Yes, we sell a wide range of moving boxes and packing materials at any Shurgard reception office. These include bubble wrap, tape and protection covers.
