I had a fantastic experience with Shurgard! The staff was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. Afonso was very helpful. He called to remind me of my storage start date, helped with my key and the unit when I couldn’t open it. Very friendly and so far a good experience of Shurgard. Access is easy and trolleys always available.

In the actual reception office, I prefer avoid any details as I felt a little rush off with the receptionist who has lost interest with my query as soon as the lobby became crowded with 2 extra customers. However, and it is important to mention the OUTSTANDING delivery service of Afanso from the head office who dedicated time and energy to make my request come true. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your professionalism. Afanso, you should be included in the next company bonus scheme as you have proved me what it is to deliver with honesty a good customer service. And more, as you called me the following day to secure the service was provided as discussed. Thank you Afanso!!!

EDIT: So had a less than desirable experience for about 24 hours mostly with other people who weren't store staff but just company staff. Was called by the manager Val who had a completely different attitude and solved the situation very quickly. Very professional, very good customer service and made me feel much more positive about my experience here.

Just organised storage for a year with ShurGard Hanworth. After carefully assessing numerous local storage options which has included going into the ShurGard site a number of times, I was really impressed with Alfonso, who was very helpful and professional whilst seemingly running the entire operation on his own (he was on his own every time I went in).
A credit to any business. ShurGard just need to get their heating working as I was freezing in the reception area (and where are some chairs for customers to sit on while they waiting?)

Had superb service from Afonso - we came as a walk-in, but he immediately showed us around the warehouse and compared different storage layouts/ sizes with us, giving friendly, unbiased advice with no hard sell. He patiently explained the deals on offer and how accessing the warehouse worked. As a result we signed up on the spot and were very satisfied with the whole experience - well done Afonso, and many thanks!
