What is Lionsclub De Meerbloem?
Lionsclub De Meerbloem is a charitable club in Zoetermeer. On a regular basis they organize activities to collect money for local charities helping vulnerable young people, people with disabilities or children in poverty.
In the Netherlands, there are in total around 470 clubs with over 10,000 Lions. Each Lionsclub organizes activities for a charity cause of its choice and rolls up its sleeves itself.
Shurgard supports Lions during map reading rally for Project Paardenmaatje
Project Paardenmaatje (Horse Buddy) offers children from low-income backgrounds coaching sessions with a horse in order to increase their resilience and self-confidence.
To support the project, Lionsclub De Meerbloem is organizing a map reading rally. To sign up for the rally, participants pay a registration fee which goes straight to Project Paardenmaatje.
Shurgard supports this project and adds 1,000 euros to the proceeds of the rally.
