• What is the advantage of storage units located on the ground floor?

  With units on the ground floor, you don’t have to use a lift to transport your belongings from your vehicle to your storage unit. This is especially convenient if you need to frequently store heavy or bulky items.

• How much space do I need to store my archives?

• What can I store at Shurgard Brie-Comte-Robert?

  Pretty much anything for personal and business reasons, such as furniture, clothes, sports equipment, archives and stock. There is a list of prohibited items in our Terms and Conditions. They include food and illegal, explosive, or hazardous materials.

• Can I combine the 1 € first month’s rent with the online special offer?

  Yes, our 1 € first month offer can be combined with our online special. This offer is valid for new customers and on selected storage units only.

• What is included in the rental price of my storage unit?

  At Shurgard Brie-Comte-Robert, the price of your unit includes:

  • Convenient access
  • Sole access to your storage unit
  • Free parking at the facility
  • Free use of our trolleys to load and unload
  • Expert advice on-site

• Are there any other cost I need to pay when renting a storage unit at Shurgard?

  Below are the extra costs you may need to pay:

  • One-off admin fee of 15 €: this amount is only applicable when you sign your first contract with us. Returning customers do not need to pay this fee.
  • Goods coverage: for your own protection, you’ll need to get goods coverage for your belongings that you store with us. You can opt for a customised goods coverage policy starting at 15 € per month.
  • Lock: to guarantee no one else can access your storage unit, you will need a lock designed to fit a Shurgard storage unit at 14,95 €. You can re-use this lock when you rent another storage unit at any Shurgard facility.

• Who can access my storage unit?

  You are the only person who can access your storage unit. You may also authorise someone else to access your unit on your behalf.

• How secure is my storage unit at Shurgard?

  At Shurgard we take security seriously. All our self-storage facilities have:

  • strategically placed digital CCTV cameras
  • alarms monitored by an external security team
  • sensor lighting
  • perimeter fencing
  • PIN coded electronic gates
  • individual storage units with specifically designed secure locks

• Is there a minimum rental period?

  You can rent your storage unit for as short as one week. Just inform our staff about your planned move out date when you sign your contract.

• Do I need to pay when reserving a storage unit?

  No, you only start paying when you sign your rental contract.

• Do I need to pay a security deposit when renting a storage unit at Shurgard?

  No, unlike other self-storage providers, Shurgard never asks for a deposit when you rent a storage unit with us.

• What is the difference between reserving and renting a storage unit?

  Reserving a storage unit at Shurgard Brie-Comte-Robert means we will hold the unit, price and promotion for you for 30 days. This is always free and without obligation. Afterwards you can decide if you want to proceed with the rental.

• What do I need to reserve a storage unit?

  To reserve a storage unit at Shurgard Brie-Comte-Robert you only need to provide your name, e-mail and telephone number. No payment details needed to make a reservation at Shurgard.

• Can I buy moving boxes or packing supplies at Shurgard?

  Yes, we sell a wide range of moving boxes and packing materials at any Shurgard reception office. These include bubble wrap, tape and protection covers.
