The changing seasons often spark a desire for change in our lives. Just packing away summer holiday items and dusting off warmer coats might ignite the desire to declutter. Freecycling
The idea of freecycling is to make it easy for people to give away their unwanted, but reusable items, to others. Reducing the amount of items that end up in landfill is a fantastic imitative. As the saying goes – one person’s rubbish is another person’s treasure!
You can start by asking friends and family if they would be interested in your items. Otherwise, look at dedicated exchange sites such as ‘Freecycle’. You can link up with people who have a need for the objects you want to gift.

Car Boot Sale
Not everything is online these days! There are still many car boot sales and markets that would make a perfect opportunity to sell your pieces.

Donate to charity
Donating your items to a charity is also an excellent way to declutter your home, and give back to a good cause.
Visit your local high street for charity shops to see if they are taking collections. Alternatively, you can arrange home pick-ups from most charities – you can often book your collection slot online. It is really easy, and obviously provides much needed support.
