I love Coral. It’s my happy colour. So, I’m excited to see the range of coral accessories currently in the shops. Thank you, Pantone, for making Living Coral the colour of 2019!
According to Pantone, Living Coral is “an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energises and enlivens with a softer edge”. Well, I’m sold!
But how easy is it to update your home with coral?
Here’s 5 effortless ways…
1. Throw Cushions
This is the quickest way to swap in a new colour trend. Use scatter cushions in bold corals or printed coral fabrics to include this pop of colour to your home style.
Velvet Coral? Well that is just a luxury overload!
2. Area Rug
A new rug can refresh a living space and give a new vibe to a room. Introducing a coral rug will also give your home a colour trend makeover.
Wayfair has a great selection of on-trend rugs, so you could opt for a block of colour to add a big statement, or a coral pattern for a subtler effect.
3. Furniture
Adding a new piece of furniture can also update a room. How about adding a dollop of coral with a Dollop Footstall? Comfy, luxurious, and a vibrant pop of colour – this is a lovely addition from John Lewis.
